OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Long Creek Volunteer Fire Department says power restoration is not likely tonight due to multiples trees blocking a road.
Officials said crews cleared at least 30 tree limbs with 100 more still in front of that on Battle Creek Road as of 7:30 p.m.
They said trees were also falling behind the crews after they passed by.
The goal on Sunday night was to maintain one open lane of traffic for emergency vehicles, according to officials.
