DANVILLE, Va. — One person was injured in a mobile home fire Saturday afternoon at 460 Parker Road in Danville, fire officials said.
Firefighters arrived at 4:31 p.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the front of the home.
A bedroom was on fire, but the flames did not spread to the rest of the residence, officials said. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, ventilated the smoke, and checked for hotspots.
The person injured was taken to Sovah ER by the Danville Life Saving Crew and their current condition is unknown. No firefighters were hurt.
The Danville Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
