The first incident occurred at 7:10 PM on Nanny Marr Road, Darfield, where a rubbish fire was deliberately started, and firefighters left the scene at 8:00 PM. The second incident occurred at 10:55 PM on Snydale Road, Cudworth, where a car was set on fire. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident and left at 12:05 AM. Traditional fire detection systems typically respond only when smoke and flames are already visible, which can result in significant property damage.
