According to BioLab’s website, the company is the swimming pool and spa water care division of KIK Consumer Products based in Lawrenceville, Georgia. A small fire on the roof was initially contained but reignited in the afternoon, prompting authorities to work diligently to bring it under control.

Residents in the northern part of Rockdale County were ordered to evacuate, while others were advised to keep doors and windows closed. Newton County School District announced the cancellation of classes on Monday, prioritizing the safety of students and staff.
