After a brief search, members of Engine 3 discovered that a fully involved three-story home was ablaze on Sea Spray Drive, which is located off Vanderbilt Lane.
The home was still under construction at the time of the incident, and the flames had extended to two neighboring houses, causing moderate damage to their exteriors. The destruction of the main structure and the damage to the adjacent homes have led to an estimated loss of around $1 million.
As the fire continued to spread, a second alarm was transmitted.
