On the evening of January 19, 2025, a major fire broke out at Zydus Cadila Unit-2 in Ankleshwar GIDC, located in Bharuch, Gujarat. The fire was reported to local authorities at approximately 7:00 PM. Firefighters from the DPMC Fire Station were promptly dispatched to the site and managed to control the flames. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Ankleshwar GIDC police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fire comes only weeks after a deadly blast at Detox India Pvt Ltd’s factory in the same area, where four workers tragically lost their lives. As fire incidents continue to plague the industrial area of Ankleshwar, safety and fire prevention measures are being reevaluated. Local authorities have indicated that the damages caused by this fire are estimated at $200,000, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the blaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This series of incidents highlights the critical importance of early fire detection systems. Conventional fire alarms typically react only after visible signs of fire, such as smoke and flames, have already been detected.
