McCRORY, Ark. (KAIT) – With temperatures in the 80s and their power off until at least Wednesday, some people are finding relief in their community.
The First Assembly of God, 6633 Highway 17 in McCrory, and the Searcy Walmart are providing food, water, and a cool place for residents whose power was knocked out Sunday by a substation fire.
A viewer, who is assisting in the relief efforts but wishes to remain anonymous, said Tuesday that they ran out of food but were going back for more.
