In the early hours of August 29, 2024, a warehouse in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City, caught fire. The warehouse, owned by Ryan Yaturo and rented by Saldy Vicente, 61, and Jeffrey Estrada, suffered significant damage.
The fire is suspected to have been caused by a faulty electric fan. Vicente indicated that the fan, which may have been left running and short-circuited after extended use, could have ignited the blaze.
