PHOENIX — Two people were rushed to the hospital after an apartment fire in central Phoenix Saturday night, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Fire Department said the fire happened at around 10:30 p.m. near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Fire crews arrived and found a second-story apartment on fire at the apartment complex.
The fire department said a man and a woman were hurt in the fire. The man is in critical condition at a burn care center in the Valley. The woman is stable after being taken to the the hospital.
Two units were damaged in the fire, and three people will be displaced.
A community assistance program is helping those displaced by the fire.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
